The town centre, with its many shops, restaurants, pubs and clubs, is a fifteen minute walk away. The sea front is a twenty minute walk where you can enjoy strolls on the shingle beach, watch the sunset, or go for the funfair rides on the pier.
On street parking is available outside the house and will cost you £2 a day with vouchers. Parking in town is more expensive and harder to find, so the best way to get around town is on foot.
There are regular buses from town to Seven Dials (5 minutes away) or you can easily pick up a taxi in town or at the station.
Brighton is probably the best city in the UK for vegetarians. There are so many veggie cafés, restaurants and wholefood and health stores.
Places to Visit
Of course, Brighton is situated close to the South Downs, so places like Lewes, Alfriston, Eastbourne, Chichester and Arundel, as well as lots of beautiful Sussex villages are easy to reach.
