By Road: If you are coming by car from the north, the best route is via the M23 - A23. Stay on the M23/A23 (dual carriageway) until you reach the major road junction/roundabout just outside Brighton.

TURN LEFT*at the large roundabout (signposted A27 Worthing Hove and Universities).Follow the signs to Hove. This joins the A27 bypass, which crosses over the A23. Continue on this road up a steep hill (with the sussex downs on the right and a windmill on the left) and exit at the next junction, signed Hove, Devil's Dyke.

At this junction take second LEFT at another roundabout (signposted Brighton) into Dyke Road Avenue (leading to Dyke Road ).  Continue on for just over 2 miles past the Tesco garage on your right.  At the second set of pedestrian traffic lights turn LEFT onto Port Hall Road.

Chatsworth Road is the first turning on the right. Number 14 is about half-way up the road. Meter parking is opposite.

If you miss the turn for Porthall Road, turn left at the junction of Dyke Road and the Old Shoreham Road, and Chatsworth Road is first on the left.

 * Alternatively, if you carry on into Brighton, past Preston Park, turn RIGHT by the Fire Station at Preston Circus, and go up the Old Shoreham Road (A27)
